Lush Goddess Bath Bomb | Review

I have seen Lush Goddess bath bomb quite a lot the past couple of months as many bloggers mention it and  I have seen it quite a bit on social media. I really wanted to know what the hype was about this unique shaped purple bath bomb. Apparently, the scent is so popular that Lush now have a range of Goddess products including soap and perfume.

Anyways let us get on with the post, shall we?
 Design
A unique shape that's curved and ombre shades of lilacs and purple. It has to be the first lush bath bomb of this particular shape, I love it.

Scent
I have to say the hype is well worth it with this bath bomb, it smells heavenly. Its key ingredients are 'Oudh Oil', 'Jasmine Absolute', 'Fair Trade Colombian Cocoa Butter' and 'Sandalwood Oil'. For me its the perfect blend of woody and floral scent, it's heavenly. I love the scent so much I am tempted to buy the perfume version of this.

In The Bath
When I put this in the bath ( eventually... LOL I love taking photos ) it actually floated around the bath instead of the usual just sinking to the bottom of the bath. It fizzed slowly in the bath for a few minutes giving spirals of lilac and purple until it melted to make the bath a milky lilac colour.

The bath water smelt heavenly and I could definatly smell the Oudh and jasmine. It was a lovely scent that just floated around the bathroom gently without being overpowering it was actually relaxing.

I loved the feel of the water too, it felt like silk and almost milky, not sure if that makes sense but if you try this bath bomb you will know what I mean. I did feel like my skin was softer and more moisturised after using this. The smell was actually on my skin till the next days following afternoon ( until my next shower).

I can see what all the hype is about with the Goddess range because it is just gorgeous! I love the combination of smells it has especially the Oudh and jasmine, they are a match made in heaven. I like the shape of the bath bomb too because instead of sinking it just floats and fizzes around the bath until completely melted into beautiful lilac water.

I am actually going to buy more of these soon because they are that nice!

  3. I am of two minds on Lush. On one hand, it's really hard to pay those prices and feel like it's Justified, but on the other hand they do make amazing products.
