Balibody Highlighter Sticks Review

Hello Everyone
Who else loves using highlighter? I know I sure do! I love the glow it gives my skin, it's the icing on the cake to my makeup routine. So when it comes to anything on my blog I like to be 100% honest about products I have tried regardless if I have bought them myself or been gifted them. These highlighter sticks from Bali Body were kindly sent for me to review.

Bali Body is a new brand to me but they sell a variety of products including suncare, self-tan and skincare. These highlighter sticks are the first cosmetics products they have launched and they come in 3 different shades.

The highlighter sticks come in 3 beautiful universal shades
  • Moonlit - Soft shades of champagne & moonbeams for an ethereal glow.
  • Rose Gold - Warm rose tones add depth & radiance to all complexions.
  • Sunkissed -  Deeper shades of bronze mimic rays of sunshine for a goddess-like glow
They have a light-reflecting finish and a wand applicator since its soft liquid product. It's a product so you can use it on your cheekbones, nose or cupids bow. You can layer it for a more intense glow.

All orders are dispatched from the UK. Each highlighter stick costs £25 each. They are paraben-free and also vegan friendly

The highlighters are multitasking so you can use them as a bronzer, blusher or a highlighter.

Below I have taken swatches of each of the highlighters, as you can see with just one swipe of the wand how glowy they are! I can see that they can be very versatile.

I really like the formula of the highlighter which is a nice surprise for me as I usually don't get along with liquid highlighters but these are just easy to use and blend. They also are fast drying which is a plus as waiting for liquid highlighters to dry can be annoying.

I use this by putting a small amount on the areas I need it such as small dots and blend them out with a concealer brush. If I want a more intense glow I would repeat the process for a more blinding glow. I myself prefer a blinding highlight in which you can notice so I like to repeat the process.

My favourite out of the bunch in 'Moonlit' as I like champagne/moon inspired highlighters as they usually go so well with the makeup looks I create. The others I like to use as a bronzer and a blusher.

Balibody Highlighter Sticks Review
I really like these highlighter sticks! They impressed me so much as I don't usually get on with liquid highlighters. I like how fast they dry and how vibrant they look without any fuss or mess. I love them and I will definitely be looking forward to Bali Body adding more cosmetics to their collection.

  2. Oooooh, these are so pretty! I don't tend to wear shadow as it slides off my skin by mid-morning or evening but if I had to choose one I'd go for Moonlit too. Great review!

  3. Oooh, these look like fun! I miss playing with makeup and going out! I like the idea of versatile types of products. And any product where the cons are "I can't think of any," definitely needs to be checked out. Thanks!

  5. They look pretty. Highlighter is my favourite type of makeup. I started using liquid highlighters just recently and I struggle with it little bit. These look gorgeous! However I dont think I would be able to use it as a bronzer haha. Thanks for sharing x

  8. I'm a fan of liquid highlighters because I have pretty dry skin but formulas can be so tricky, it's awful when they move the product underneath! I'm glad you're enjoying these because I'm expecting some to arrive soon x
