Halloween has to be one of my favourite holidays, I love the decor, music and movies. This post is 50 spooky movie suggestions to watch this Halloween. This post follows my recent post on my spookiest Spotify playlist blog post.

Growing up my favourite movies to watch over Halloween was always a mix of either a ‘Nightmare Before Christmas’ and ‘Sleepy Hollow’ but as I grew up I enjoyed more variety of films such as ‘From Hell, ‘Queen of the Damned’ and an all-time favourite of mine ‘The Rocky Horror Picture Show’

Now I have kids of my own I had to include some family-friendly movies. They love watching ‘The Witches’ and ‘The Addams Family at the moment.

With Halloween just around the corner, I thought making a list up of some of my favourite spooky films would go perfectly for this holiday. I have a mix of vampire, classic and family-friendly films to choose from

  2. Love your suggestions! So many great ones (Scooby Doo, yas!). Definitely would recommend The Conjuring (and also the other movies in the franchise/world) + Insidious series + Grudge + Dark Water (Japanese versions for both). As for family friendly, I recently watched Muppets Haunted Mansion and it was just spoopy!
