Now I was super impressed with last months ‘Halloween Edition’ of the Glossybox. I honestly thought they have to be no way they can top, it was the bee’s knees and had that spooky factor. It had a great design with lots of beauty goodies inside but you guessed… November Glossybox wins at being the best so far this year.

Novembers Glossybox has the theme Beauty S.O.S and it has actually sold out now. I feel very lucky to be a subscriber and actually have got this box. The box has five essentials that will come to the rescue during the party season.

If you are new to Glossybox I will tell you a little bit about it. Glossybox is a beauty monthly subscription box. Inside the box is a variety of beauty products which could be beauty, skincare or haircare products. You can buy a pay monthly or one-off box at £10 plus £3.25 P&P or you can save money and choose either their 3,6 or 12-month plan.

Glossybox – October 2018 Review

Hello everyone! 🌙

Last months September Glossybox to me was a bit disappointing and the worst one I have got so far. It felt like such random choices and also far too many samples compared to previous boxes I have had. I wasn’t sure whether to continue the subscription but when I saw on the description card that the next box was Halloween themed and had a llamasqua lipstick, I decided to give it one more chance to see if it keep the subscription going.

The weather has started to change as we go from summer to autumn and the clocks going forward. Octobers Glossybox is Halloween themed and with the spirit of all things spooky and mystical they are 2 boxes this month – one being a trick themed box and the other being a treat themed box.

I got the Trick Edition and below are the products which are inside this months box.

Glossybox ‘Pride’ August 2018 Review

It has been far too long since I bought a beauty subscription box so I decided to treat myself to a ‘Glossybox’ since its August and it is my birthday month ( Yay, party time!). This months theme is ‘Pride’ and is dedicated to the LGBT community which is just fabulous. The box has a gorgeous rainbow design on the front of the box and also inside is packaged in a similar rainbow design in keeping with the pride theme.

This months box has 6 FULL-SIZE products.

Glossybox’s can vary every month but they usually have a variety of products including hair care, skin care and beauty items. The box costs £10 plus P&P ( I took advantage of the 20% code this month)

What in the box?

Rimmel London Ink Me Stamp & Sticker Tattoos

I have a star version of the ink me stamp which I love and I think the heart one is super cute too! These are great for parties and it dries pretty fast too.

The sticker tattoos look quite fun, not sure when I will use them but I am sure I will. They are waterproof and last up to 4 days.

Victoria’s Secret Pink Selfie Skin Nourishing Sheet Mask

This sheet mask is formulated with coconut oil which is super nourishing and helps keep skin feeling soft and nourished. Using this sheet mask is simple; wash and dry your face then apply to the skin and relax for 15 minutes.

I love having a face mask pamper at least once a week so I am looking forward to trying this out.

Trifle Cosmetics Lip & Cheek Jam

I have not anything from this brand before but this looks lovely and I love the name. This is a multitasker and can be used on the lips and cheeks. It can last for up to 10 hours and the ingredients are 99% natural and 75% water-based.

Kaleido Cosmetics Astrolight Highlighter

omg, omg! This highlighter is just stunning! I swatched this on my hand and wow, it is so vibrant and shimmery. I love the name of the highlighter and the product itself smells really nice too.

3INA The Shadow Paint 703

Love the way the packaging is very similar to paint you would be in an arts and crafts shop. This is versatile and can be used as an eyeshadow or even an eyeliner – I am definitely going to in the next few days.

My thoughts

I am so glad that I subscribed to Glossybox again! I am very pleased with most of the products in the box and the fact that I got it for a 20% discount and all the products are worth over £56 makes me a super happy girl.

I love the design of the box and my favourite product in the box has to be the Kaleido cosmetics Astrolight Highlighter’. Its so vibrant and I am looking forward to using it as I am with the rest of the products in the box.
