I have tried many varieties of porridge over the years ( which I love) but this was the first time I have tried a congee. Congee is basically like a savoury porridge. I sure was excited to try it. All of the flavours I tried here are vegan/vegetarian friendly.

Mornings for me can be very hectic, to say the least! I tend to get up at 6 am and I make my bed, get my kids up, sort out their breakfasts and tell them to get ready for school while at the same time getting myself sorted out for the day, then before you know it I’m taking the kids to school and I’m doing my blog or tasks for the day. Making Delicious Gluten-Free Protein Pancakes with Muscle Moose!

Pancakes are one of my go-to breakfast or dessert choices! I love how versatile they can be and the amount of variations you can create seems to be endless! My favourite at the moment has to be pancakes with strawberries, the skinny food co maple syrup and chocoholic hazelnut spread, just heaven.. mmmm!

When it comes to foods that have protein added in them sometimes they can be a bit thick to eat and for me, I am not a fan of but with these pancakes they are fluffy and delicious which is a treat.

These pancakes come in 2 different flavours; Golden Syrup and also Chocolate raspberry. I was kindly sent the Golden Syrup to try.
