It’s been a short second since Greggs brought out the new Gregg’s Vegan Sausage, Bean & CheeZe melt. I was very excited when they brought this pastry out because I just loved the original version. I haven’t had it for years ever since going veggie. I love reviewing new vegan products, it’s nice to find new favourites like the Burger King Vegan Royale.
This is one of a few things now available in Gregg’s that are suitable for vegans. I love the variety coming out now! Just a shame they got rid of the vegan steak bake, I liked that.
What is in the melt?
Delicious chunks of vegan sausage pieces, vegan cheeze and tasty baked beans wrapped in a puff pastry.
How much are they?
They are about £1.90 each. That’s not bad for a quick meal or snack.
How do they taste?
The crispy flaky puff pastry is just divine, it just crumbles when you bite it, yum! The sausage pieces are Quorn I think and I really enjoyed them, I just wish they were more pieces ( maybe that’s me being greedy haha) The beans were top notch but for me but unfortunately for me the cheeze wasn’t my cup of tea. I know loads of people love this melt but for me, it’s not my favourite.

I am so thankful that they are more vegans and vegetarians options out there now. Gregg’s is one of my favourite places to get pastries and cakes, so them being more vegan friendly makes me happy. I am sure many out there agree too.
I love trying out new vegan foods. I am sure it won’t be long before I review a new product on the market. Keep a look for the review shortly.

That looks really good. I am not veggie, but I would try it. I love adding non meat treats to my life.
