Just over a month ago, I was at home after dropping my kids to school when I got a knock on the door and it was the fabulous ‘Milky Hydrating Collection from Pixi’! It was totally random and a lovely surprise. Skincare is defiantly important to me as I am knocking on 30s door and also have combination skin makes me want to get skincare right for me. Getting this collection was a much-needed boost for me as I love trying new skincare products.
My skincare routine has improved over the years and I would like to think I have a decent amount of knowledge on what works well for me so far. Finding products that work for me is a task and a half but most of the time Pixi sure delivers.
This collection is cruelty-free and also vegan friendly too!

So what’s in the collection?
They are 6 products in the collection which represent the steps to achieve softer and hydrated skin.
Step 1 – Remove
This does exactly what it says on the bottle! It removes makeup easily! It has a pump action top which you apply to a face towel or face pads. You simply use circular motions to remove makeup including the most stubborn makeup such as waterproof mascara. It also makes skin feel more hydrated after use.
Step 2 – Cleanse
Next up you use a coin size amount of this daily use cleanser applying with circular motions and remove with warm water. This cleanser is enriched with moisturizing coconut extract, willow bark extract and skin-perfecting probiotics.
Step 3 – Peel
This peel exfoliates the skin with natural ingredients which help minimize pores and condition the skin. The ingredients include coconut which nourishes, willow bark to refine pores and cellulose to exfoliate. Simply use this daily by applying to the skin, leaving it on for 2-3 minutes then washing off with warm water.
I love the feel of this on my skin and washing it off my face feels smoother. I love this step so much!
Step 4 – Tone
I am a huge fan of PIXI tonics and its a flip between the vitamin c and glow tonics which are so far my favourites. This milky tonic is soothing and balances the skin. Simply soak into a cotton pad or reusable towel and gently wipe over your face and down the neck. I like to use it in the mornings and also just before I go to bed at night.
Step 5 – Treat
Not only does this soothe the skin but it also deeply hydrates and brightens the skin. The ingredients include rose flower extract, jojoba oil and aloe vera. I love the smell of this! You only need 2-3 drops cover your face and neck. It has a drop applicator included so its easy to get the right amount needed.
Step 6 – Moisturise
The final step is using this lotion! You can use this on your face and also on your body too. This adds instant hydration as well as long-term skin moisture. Ingredients inside include shea butter, coconut oil, cocoa seed extract for hydration and others including sweet almond extract and black oat extract. As with everything else in the collection, this smells gorgeous while at the same time softens my skin.
I am super happy with this collection and I have definitely found some new favourites! I think they came at the perfect time for me as I needed something to add to my self-care routine especially with what’s going on in the world right now. I love how refreshing the whole collection feels on my skin and I love using them in my skincare routine.

Can you believe I've never tried anything from Pixi? I'd love to though, I've heard amazing things! These sound like great products and I love the packaging they come in too!
