This summer has been one of the hottest I can remember and I have lost track of the number of times I have treated myself and the kids to bubble pop waffles and ice cream. We have also been visiting family, going to a family members wedding not to mention the fun days out too.
Now in the past when it comes to sun care I have been a bit naughty and not remembered to apply a sun lotions/sprays to myself even though I always apply the highest factor sun lotions or sprays on my kids, I always forgot myself without meaning too.
It’s so important to remember to apply a sun lotion/spray because of the risks of sunburn, premature ageing/damaging the skin and not to mention the skin cancer risk. Solero suncare products are available at Lloyds Pharmacy for affordable prices.
I was kindly sent 2 products to try from Lloyds Pharmacy and both have been used by myself and my partner too.
Solero Invisible Sun Spray SPF30 150ml (RRP £7.00)
I love this spray as it gives a super fast and even application so even when you’re in a rush you know your skin is covered and protected. This spray is indivisible and looks a little bit like water mist. Once it is on the skin it is 100% transparent, dries quickly and works well on skin that isn’t acclimatised with the sun ( usual Glasgow weather then LOL).
Not only does this spray protect you against sunburn etc it also nourishes your skin with its added ingredient of vitamin E.
Solero Sun Allergy Prevention Spray 200ml (RRP £8.00)
This spray is perfect not only for adults but it can be used on children too. It has a high sun protection barrier on the skin that prevents sun blisters and sun allergies. Like the above spray, it is easy to apply and dries very quickly onto the skin.
How to use
- Shake well before use
- Apply onto skin half an hour before going out into the sun onto the areas of the skin which will be in contact with direct sunlight.
- It is important to apply this onto the skin several times a day ( every 1-2 hours ). Even more so are perspiring, swimming or towelling. So its always best to take it with you wherever you go.
Advice
No matter the time of year I would suggest using suncare. UV is always present no matter if it’s sunny, raining or evening snowing.

Loved the sunscreen in a convenient spray bottle. SPF 30 is a must these days in the harsh sun. And great that its transparent too. No more white blotches!
I have read good reviews about Solero and would love to try them. Unfortunately, I haven't found them locally. Do you think they ship international?
You're so pretty and that lippie suits you so! Yeah, I use La Roche Posay sunscreen only when at the beach as it blends right into my skin without any residue. For daily wear, my Boots Botanics face cream has an SPF 30 and that's enough for me. I've got a high level of melanin so I don't use too much sunscreen plus I wear sun protection as well.
I need to buy some new suncreams before my sun holiday at the beginning of next year so these sound good x
I really like the look of these. The fact it is in a spray bottle is such a great selling point as I love suncream that is easy to use and quick!

I love the spray suncare bottles that they have out there. I wish my daughter would like them more but I think they are just so useful.
Yeah our last summer was very hot, too. And now that it's the rainy season, we do get floods, but in between, the weather is soooo hot! I do use sunscreen on all of us. But we don't have this brand. WE just use Nivea. I have a separate sunblock for my face.
That’s a great advice and description. Lucky me that I live in a place where things can be worked out even if we miss to use our sun screen.
What is up with summer this year? So many friends and family have been telling me that it's in years they have experienced this much heat. I haven't heard of this Solero brand but looks like they have great suncare products.
