Today’s post is about Odylique by Essential Care: An Organic, Fair Trade & Cruelty-Free Brand. Included are the Ultra-Rich Balm, Superfruit Concentrate and Advocado 24 hour replenishing cream. Since it’s been a while, it’s time to share my thoughts on them.

…I have to admit in 2020 and the start of 2021, I did not buy many beauty products at all. I think the only things I bought in that period was SPF creams and lip balms, but apart from that NOTHING. Makeup is still quite low on my priority list but I still enjoy wearing it occasionally. The main buys I have enjoyed getting are skincare products because, boy my skin needs some TLC in the colder months, brrr! My most bought things at the moment are Korean skincare and vibrant makeup.
I feel a little bit late to the party reviewing this celebrity/blogger favourite Egyptian Magic. I couldn’t wait to give it a try.
Ever since I was a child I have loved all things from ancient Egypt such as fashion, hieroglyphs and of course the pyramids. This cream is inspired by ancient Egyptian favourite products which are ingredients like Olive Oil, Beeswax, Honey, Bee Pollen, Royal Jelly, Bee Propolis and Divine Love.
My skin type is a combination but most of the time it’s normal depending on hormones etc. But saying that I like to use something more natural and got a bit of history to it, so it sold it to me from that respect. This multi-purpose balm is 100% natural and cruelty-free.

So last month I have kindly gifted the New Antipode Culture Probiotic Night Recovery Water Cream with some other skincare delights. I have never heard of probiotic being used in skincare before and, to be honest, the only time I heard of it was yoghurt haha. I have been using this at night time before I go to bed and let me start by saying wow, it’s a treat for my skin!
For me, Skincare is a huge part of my day as it one of those things that help start my day and also a thing that helps me wind down at night time. The night time skincare regime is my favourite as I love how it feels and for me, it’s very relaxing.

Skincare is one of my favourite self-care things to do in the day. As I have gotten older, I have noticed my skin needs a bit more TLC so it’s important to get my skincare routine right. I want my routine to be right so my skin looks good through the years and adapts through age.

The collection has everything I need to start my day. They also have other skincare products in the range including products for sensitive, oily and dry skin and even a mix and match option.
We are well into 2021 now but lets take a little look back to 2020.
2020 has to be one of the most trying years not just for Scotland but most of the world. I have not seen my family in over a year now and on top of that my routine has been completely changed because of the three lockdowns we have had. Since routines have changed so has my skincare routine. The main reasons being the everyday use of face masks, putting on harsh hand sanitiser and not forgetting just the stress of lockdown.
I have had to adjust my skincare regime a lot since lockdown started as I have noticed my skin is more sensitive and dry. My hands are drier because of using hand sanitiser more often and my face tends to get acne from wearing a face mask. This year has been a whirlwind for my skin, so adapting my skincare was a must.
