Hello, Darlings!
I have always been intrigued to trying stick foundations ever since I was suggested to try out Bobbi Browns skin foundation skin. I never got round to try out the Bobbi Brown foundation stick but I was always wanting to try a foundation stick as I usually use a liquid foundation and on some occasions, I might use a powder/pressed foundation. I bought the Revolution fast base stick foundation by chance really as I was looking for something else but thought might as well give this a try to see if I like a stick foundation.
Revolution makeup ( formally makeup revolution) has been selling makeup products for a few years now and over the years, in my opinion, the products keep getting better and better and my wish list just keeps growing; 'help!'
The fast base foundation stick is quite new to the revolution makeup range and comes in 18 shades. It can be used as a quick way to apply foundation, contour and highlight. The stick itself is surprisingly creamy and applies to the skin effortlessly for a dewy and fresh finish.

Picking foundation shades can be a right pain for me as I usually get alabaster and shade 2.0 in urban decay. I swatched a few of the testers in Superdrug and found that F4 suited my skin tone best.
The packaging is quite nice in a nice nude shade with rose cold details and writing. The inside is equally as nice with more rose gold and the foundation stick. It does feel quite nice and doesn't feel like a budget product at all. The product itself is super smooth and I was pleasantly surprised by that because it's much easy to use that way. You would think that with it being creamy that it would be thrown to breaking but nope it works its way down like a lipstick would.
How to use
Basically, you apply this to your face as much as needed and you can blend it with your fingers, foundation brush but my favourite way has to be with my beauty blender, it's so effortless.
My thoughts
This foundation definalty exceed my expectations and the price tag of £5 is such a bargain for this. It has a light to medium finish and feels weightless on the skin. It doesn't transfer either which is a big bonus on the warmer days we have a few days of the year LOL! I will definitely be buying this again in the future.

I've never tried a foundation stick before and with having dry skin I'm not sure if it would work with me! It sounds great though, especially for the price! X
