Pink Parcel Review - September 2018

Hello everyone! 🌙

Following on from last months August's Pink Parcel I decided to keep the subscription going seeing as its a great addition to have during a time of the month which is unpleasant for me and I am sure it is for many people! PCOS sucks so I can't guess when to get this delivered so I always seem to miss it which is annoying.

Everyone months box is different apart from the essentials which are always including such as the tampons and/or pads. You could also get food, skincare or beauty products. The box is £12.99 a month and you can cancel or suspend your subscription at any time.

This months box theme is 'EVE EDIT' which is a charity that raises awareness and funds research of five types of gynaecological cancer- womb, ovarian, cervical, vulval and vaginal.

So what's in the parcel?

Beauty Pro Nourishing Collagen Sheet Mask with Olive Extract
I also got another beauty pro sheet mask in my September glossy box so I am definitely treating my skin this month. This is an anti ageing face mask that you simply leave on for 20 minutes. It contains marine collagen, vitamin C and aloe vera which work in harmony to restore radiance, boost skins elasticity and combat fine lines.

Anatomicals No Old Bags Allowed Revitalising Eye Gel
Simply apply a small dab under the eyes for an instant refreshment and hydration. It contains orange flower water and arnica which are non-sticky and fast absorbing. It is a sample size so its perfect for just throwing your bag for travelling.

Drink Me Chai Free From Chai Latte
I love to drink me chai, it's a lovely sweet and spicy chai that is the perfect treat in autumn. This is one serving and is made with natural sweeteners, cinnamon, no added sugar and also caffeine-free.

One serving
Price: £2.50 for 250g

Seed and Bean Cornish Sea Salt & Lime
Now, this fushion is just heavenly! I have never tried chocolate that has salt in nevermind lime and you know something? it goes perfectly! This chocolate is fair trade and has organic ingredients.

Price: £1.20
Pixi Endless Silky Eye Pencil in Black
Now Pixi is a brand that I just love! I have a few beauty products from the brand now and I just love them all so his eye pencil is definitely a welcome addition. This has a long lasting formula that lasts all day and is waterproof.

Price: £12 for full size

skinChemists Rose Quartz Lip Plump
Now I know a lot of people love these products but unfortunately they aren't for me. I am not keen on the glossy effect or the way this feels on my lips. It has a lovely peppermint smell and has an easy to use applicator.

Price: £24.90 for 8ml

Percy & Reed Radiance Reavling Invisible Dry Shampoo
Now I just love dry shampoos as they are a great quick fix when you don't have the time or just need to add volume to your hair. I have never tried this brand before so I am rather excited to give it a try

Travel Size
Price: £12.50 for 150ml

My thoughts
Now as much as I love this box I am not sure if I will buy another seeing as my periods are so darn unpredictable. I do love this month treats inside the box and I am sure that they will all be amazing. I will definitely be buying the seed and bean chocolate again, it was lovely. I also love the brand Pixi so that's definitely made me want to try out more of the brand.

  1. I reviewed the bettybox which is the 'younger sister' of this box for teens and i loved it so much! It's super handy and convenient and the extra treats make it all worth it!

  5. I got the chance to review a pink parcel a couple of months ago and really loved it. The theme of this box sounds incredible too. I haven't tried this product but I've really liked the Perry & Reed products I've tried in the past x

  6. I'm definetly going to treat myself to this once the baby has arrived. I'm dreading having my period after the baby as it's always the worst. This should help cheer me up a bit!
