It's been ages since I last treated myself to a Birchbox so I just had to jump on the Black Friday offer of 2 boxes for £5... Bargain eh? Anyways I was just in time for the Christmas themed Birchbox...some will say I timed it but I never ( I did really LOL). This months theme is 'Twinkle all the way' which is just perfect for the sparkly box design with all its blue sparkles and randomly placed stars.
Birchbox is a beauty inspired monthly subscription box. The box comes every month and costs £10 plus P&P but you can save money by buying quarterly, every 6 months or yearly. Decembers box has 2 extra treats seeing as its Christmas this month.
Inside 'Twinkle all the Way' Birchbox
LARITZY Cosmetics | Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick in Power | RRP £20
( Full Size )
This is a liquid lipstick that delivers rich pigmented colour that won't budge. It has a comfortable texture and is non-dried out a matte finish. The red is very vibrant and something I love to wear to boost my confidence and also to look fabulous of course.
Oh K! | Bubble Sheet Mask | RRP £7.50
( Full Size )
I have always wanted to try out a bubble mask so getting this is a big plus. This mask reacts with oxygen in the air to form tiny bubbles. It creates a foamy finish which is bound to cause giggles... I am guaranteed to have a good laugh at myself when I see myself in the mirror I am sure. It purifies the face while smoothing the skin for a radiant complexion.
Balance Me | Flash Cleanse Micellar Water | Full size is priced at £16
( Sample Size )
This cleanser is 99% natural and contains a blend of peptides, chamomile, neroli and mandarin to support skins natural regeneration process. I got to say it sounds promising and its great you don't need to wash it off after either.
Smashbox | Photo Finish Smooth and Blur Primer | Full size is priced at £26
( Sample Size )
I have always wanted to try Smashbox but I just never got round to it, so I am chuffed I get to try out this primer. It is a clear gel primer that smoothes out pores and fine lines and wrinkles. It can be used on its own or as a base for makeup.
Percy & Reed | Totally TLC Hydrating Mask | Full Size is priced at £22
( Sample Size )
I am a huge fan of the Percy & Reed dry shampoo so I am excited to try this out on my damaged bleached blonde hair. I use hair masks quite often to keep my hair feeling soft and this one contains nourishing ingredients to keep hair feeling soft and manageable. You use this by washing hair with a shampoo then this mask then your usual conditioner.
Extra Treats
Birchbox Hair Comb | RRP £5
This comb works on tangles and the wide teeth help work through tough tangles and knots without causing breakage. I am excited about giving this a whirl.
Hotel Chocolat | Chocolate Duo
Now Birchbox you are spoiling us, aren't you? I just love hotel Chocolat's chocolate as they are luxury and they have so many lovely flavours. I am eating them as I write this.
I just love box design, what's not to love about sparkles right? I love that it opens like a draw too so this can be used as something else later. The contents of the box are spot on too as you get so many products for the money including 3 full sized products and some good size samples of premium brands. I am excited to try the Smashbox primer the most as it is one I have wanted to try for a while now.
