I can't believe its nearly Christmas and how fast the year 2018 has been! In November I didn't wear as much makeup as I usually do but I did have a firm few favourites that I loved wearing on the days that I wore makeup. I totally nearly forgot to post this post so its up way later than the usual beauty favourite post would be up.
Novembers makeup was just makeup I would do in less than 15 minutes and most of the choices are neutrals because I think they look better with my bleached blonde hair. I am saving up the vibrant and sparkly looks for December seeing as its the party season aha.
My November Favourites
Too Faced Melted Latex in Hopeless Romantic
This first featured as one of my monthly beauty favourites back in July and I still love it now. I wore this for a family wedding and I am so glad I did as it went perfectly with my outfit and I got so many compliments wearing it. I am so thankful to my friend Ummbaby for gifting me this as it happens to be my favourite nude lipstick, like ever. Just wanted to say Ummbaby ( Sal ) is a very friendly amazing blogger and Instagrammer, definitely give her a follow.
Kat Von D 'Metal Crush' Extreme Highlighter in Gammaray
I have to say my highlight game has been absolutely dazzling this year and that's thanks to mostly my Kat Von D highlighters. The highlighters are so sparkly and pigmented, they are always my go-to highlighter as I know they will last all day. Gammaray is as the name suggests EXTREME HIGHLIGHTER... its justs blinding and out there that you only need a small amount. It is a lovely pink/copper hue and works wonders on cheekbones, cupids bow and eyebrow arches.
Loreal Infallible 24 hour Foundation in Linen
This has to be my favourite high street foundation that I have ever tried, it is just brilliant. It works well with the infallible primer as a base and it glides onto the skin like silk, its very light and pretty much weightless when on the skin. It has light-medium coverage and can be buildable depending on what you like.
3INA The Eyebrow Kit
Now I am usually a girl who loves wearing eyebrow pomades but this kit is up there with favourite eyebrow products. It has 2 eyebrow powders and wax with tweezers, not forgetting 2 mini eyebrow brushes and not only that, the palette itself has a mirror so its an all-around amazing product.
NYX Liquid Liner
I have been wearing eyeliner for many years now and this eyeliner has to be one of my favourites to use. It's easy to create a variety of looks from everyday liners to glam looks, it is so damn versatile, I love it.
Kat Von D Shade and Light Eyeshadow Palette
I usually go for more vibrant eyeshadow palettes but this palette sure won me over as its perfect for everyday looks and it's also perfect for glam looks, its a palette I didn't know I needed till I got it. It has a matte finish and blends perfectly together, it can also be used with shimmer and glitter eyeshadows too.
MUA Luxe Bronzer
I got this a few months back in the Halloween Edition Glossybox and I got to say it is one of my staple bronzers, its great. I love using it as a contour or to add definition to my cheekbones. It's not my favourite bronzer by any means but I love the glow and dimension it gives.
Beauty kitchen SPF30 Mineral Shield Daily Primer
I know it may sound daft but I never knew you could get primers with SPF in them, I always thought you needed a separate product. This is a mineral primer that I was lucky enough to get in a Triyit box offers up SPF30 and has 5-star protection against UVA/UVB rays. Not only is it natural product buts its suitable for all skin tones and skin types ( even like my sensitive skin).

I've had my eye on the Kat von D palette for ages now. I've seen so many great things but I'm not sure if I wanted to get such a basic matte palette. But if you didn't know you needed it until you got it, maybe I need it too 🤔😂 x

Wonderful post❤
ReplyDeleteI’ve heard such great things about Kat Von D highlighters - might just have to give them a try. I love highlighters that are sparkly and pigmented - there are some that I’ve had that I’ve had to keep applying until it started too glow a bit so it’s great to hear you just need a small amount! I’ve been eyeing a few different palette’s as I’ve been a bit bored with the one I have, and it looks like I need to go on a Kate Von D shopping spree haha. A product I’ve been using this month are the Burt’s Bees Tinted Lip Balms - they’re perfect for winter :)

Ooh wow I actually haven't even tried one of these products so I'll definitely have to keep an eye out! That bronzer looks gorgeous and I'm always in the market for a new one, especially with how pale I am in the Winter haha!

L'oreal and Maxfactor are definitely my go-tos for high street makeup brands, especially foundation-wear!
ReplyDeleteI've recently got onto the NARS train - using their primer and powder foundation which I am LOVING at the moment!
