Yankee Candle All Is Bright | Review

Hello everyone!

Over the years I have lost track of how many candles and fragrances I have tried... all I know is that its a lot and its probably a number that will make me fall off my seat LOL. Yankee Candle is one of my favourite candle brands and it's easy to see why; they have so many scents and products, you are spoiled for choice.

I used to buy mostly the medium and large jars but that all changed a few months back. I decided to use only the tea lights and the wax melts because I love having different scents constantly and having wax melts and tea lights were more cost effective for me.
Yankee Candle All Is Bright review
Yankee Candle has been a firm favourite brand of mine for years now! They have barely let me down when it comes to fragrances. Christmas fragrances from them have to be my ultimate favourite though as having a Christmas themed scent on in the background instantly warms up the place and its so refreshing having spicy/sweet smells in the background; whether you're watching the TV, writing a blog post or even reading a book.

Now you may be wondering why on earth is she writing about something like tea lights? Well, I just love having different scents in my home and for me, I like to share my thoughts on each candle, wax melt or diffuser I try not matter the size.
Yankee Candle All is bright review
The fragrance 'All Is Bright' won me over instantly when I was shopping for which Christmas Yankee Candle to buy. This has a blend of sparkling citrus and warm musk.

Fragrance Notes
Top: Grapefruit, Orange
Mid: Redcurrant
Base: Sweet Musk

All is bright comes in a variety of sizes from a wax melt up to a large jar. Prices start at £1.79.
I have never bought Yankee candle tealights before as I usually just go for the wax melts or the large jars. I did like using the tealights but would I buy them again I am not so sure about that. I am not won over as I do prefer using the wax melts as the scent is much more potent and more noticeable that way. Now I won't complain too much as they did smell lovely and I did notice them and was very impressed.

The scent that stands out and the one I could smell the most has to be the musk with a twist of citrus, its just so lovely and warming, I love it. I really want to try the wax melt version of this.

I have been using them in my mistletoe tealight holder and it held the tealight perfectly without any fuss getting it in or out.

  3. Oh I’ve not tried this one! Agree with you about preferring their wax melts, I never feel like I can smell the tea lights

  4. Yankee are some of my favourite candles too but I totally agree the tealights never smell as strong as the jars or wax melts! My favourite Christmas scents are snowflake cookie and Christmas Cookie!

  5. I'm not quite a fan of Yankee as I feel they're quite dear compared to other candles / companies. I would probably agree with you on the candle vs wax melts. Wax melts always seem to be stronger than tealights. I've actually changed from tealights to now burning wax melts, this year I am loving Gingerbread! It smells great.
