Cosmopolitan x Pink Parcel Review | February

Cosmopolitan x Pink Parcel Review | February
It has been a while since I posted about the subscription box 'Pink Parcel' because I have a few issues with the past boxes I had been sent which I will talk about at the end of the post. The last Pink Parcel post was a few months back in October and that's when I started to notice a few hiccups. I decided to do one more post since I have decided to cancel the subscription just before I got this box. So the Cosmopolitan is the last box but thankfully it is a decent box.

Pink Parcel is a monthly period inspired subscription box that sends you all the products you need for your period and also some extras to make your period a little easier. Each box costs less than £11 a month and could contain the any of the following; luxe curations of cult beauty brands, herbal tea, artisan chocolate, seasonal surprises and the obvious such as the pads, tampons or a mixture of both.

What is in Februarys Box?
Like the past few months, they had no leaflet explaining about the products you receive in the box which for me is a shame because I like to learn more about products. I know it saves paper but even info on their website or an email would have of been helpful you know?

Marvis Cinnamon Mint Toothpaste ( Travel Size )
This is a luxury toothpaste brand and they have a variety of toothpaste flavours including Jasmine Mint and Ginger Mint. The cinnamon is definitely something new I have tried with toothpaste but after a few times I got used to trying it (it is quite strong!) I enjoy using this every day right now and I am glad to have got it in this months box, I really want to get the Jasmine flavour next time.

Oryza Beauty Lipstick ( Full Size )
Oh, no... I honestly can't say I am 100% happy with this lipstick as I got it in a previous beauty box a month or so ago. I really think it feels cheap for the price (£15.95!) Not only that, it smells really bad too which is offputting. Its a shame but I would try more from the brand.

Soaper Duper Fruity Green Tuberose Body Lotion ( Full Size )
This has to be the best thing in the box for me! I just love the name of the brand and the product is 98% natural and smells lovely too like pineapples and a mixture of fruit. The body lotion has smoothing pineapple fruit acids, hydrating aloe vera juice and nourishing shea butter. I have used it a few times already and so far so good.

Continued...

Dr Lipp Original Nipple Balm ( Sample Size )
The nipple balm is actually multi-use so it can be used on the lips and apparently to the packaging has a hundred uses. It is 100% natural and fragrance-free, it can reduce skin roughness by 40% in just one hour! Has so many uses that I will have to give them all a whirl.

Chocolate and Love in Madagascar and Panama ( Sample Sizes )
These are the perfect bite size amounts and these chocolates are just divine! I have tried this brand before and my favourite has to be the sea salt, just lovely.

Purechimp Tumeric Matcha Green Tea ( Sample Size)
This sachet has a generous amount of matcha and can make 2 cups of matcha. I love matcha as its more potent than green tea and that means the benefits of green tea but better. This matcha has turmeric, cinnamon and ginger so it's a nice little twist, I can't wait to pour myself a cup.

Vitamasques Diamond Gold Mask ( Full Size )
This mask is actually made with real gold and diamonds ( dunno whether to keep it or sell it, LOL I am kidding) Anyways this mask apparently moisture content absorbs into the skin faster ( I hope so because some take ages, am I right?) The goal of this mask is to hydrate and brighten the skin. I will be trying this on a relaxing evening that's for sure.

My thoughts
I did think this months box is a vast improvement and the products inside were all pretty much great, well apart from the lipstick but that's just my preference. I kinda wished saw this box before cancelling my subscription because this box is very impressive and a definate pick me up when I feel rubbish and sore on my period. I will never say never about getting this box again in the futrue but the past couple of months were a bit on the meh side to say the least.

My last box was opened and the box was battered which for me was a little unprofessional to say the least. Not just that the products were not brilliant either. The months before that the boxes were always late so I had to buy my pads to make sure I had them. Its a shame but I have seen pink parcel has improved over the last month or so and I really do wish them well.
