Loreal Infallible Foundation in Linen | Review

Loreal Infallible Foundation in Linen | Review
This is the second time I have bought the Loreal Infallible foundation in Linen so you can imagine how much I love it. I bought the Loreal Infallible Foundation as a budget-friendly substitute to using my premium Kat Von D lock it foundation as I only like using that more when I am going out somewhere special like a party or just when I feel like having a more intense makeup look.

My skin type is a combination, so it is dry in parts but it is also oily too in places such as my nose but dry in patches such as my cheeks and my chin. The most annoying thing about getting the right foundation is quite a lot can be too drying and make my dry skin look drier so looking out for a foundation to avoid that is something I look out for.

 The Infallible Foundation Range
They are 26 shades in their foundation selection and is described as a 24-hour fresh wear foundation with full coverage. Instead of feeling heavy and full coverage its turned the tables and is described as being lightweight, transfer proof, party proof and one of my favourites waterproof.

The formula is described as gel-like but I don't really agree with that because for me it's quite watery like a liquid foundation ( yes even if I do shake the bottle beforehand).

Applying the foundation is easy peasy if apply with either a makeup sponge or a foundation brush. Just 2 pumps of it are enough to cover my face which for me I think that's pretty amazing and means a little bit will go a long way with every bottle. ( My last bottle lasted 3 months before needing a new one, I probably used it 5 days out of 7 in those 3 months).

 Loreal Infallible Foundation In Linen
Finding the right foundation for me is blooming mission in itself, so many different foundations options have been given to me at beauty counters. I like to swatch them before buying to make sure they are right for me. Seeing as they are 26 shades in the range I swatched a few shades and linen was the right one for my skin tone.

Linen is described as being for fair-light skin with warm yellow undertones. It matches my skin perfectly even though I usually buy and use light-based foundations with neutral undertones, I did think this one was perfect for me as it gives my skin a slight sunkissed glow.

I love this foundation for so many reasons that I could shout it from the rooftops haha! I love the consistency of it so it's easy to apply ( especially with a beauty blender!) It is described as a full coverage foundation but I would say its medium to full so you could build it up to a finish you want.

It doesn't have much of a smell and the smell it does have is very delicate; my skin can be sensitive but this foundation doesn't irritate it at all. The finish of the foundation is a fresh and dewy look which I just love, it looks radiant.

As for the wear of the foundation before I do anything I like to apply a pore refining primer before applying the foundation to create a more even base, then after the foundation I like to wear a makeup setting spray to prolong not just my foundation but the rest of my makeup too. The foundation looks great for at least 8-10 hours depending on the daily activities.

The foundation costs £10.99 for 30ml of product which is an absolute steal for this foundation especially when it's on the 3 for 2 offer ( I always buy this on them lol)
Pin me for later?

Have you tried the Loreal Infallible foundation before?
