Setunea Natural Olive Oil Soap
If you are a regular reader of my blog you will know my skin can be quite sensitive at times and also can get quite dry. My skincare game has had a big shakeup and now use products that my skin likes. I also try and use more natural products when I can.
I was kindly sent this Olive Oil Soap to try by the generous people at Setunea. They are a very new brand bringing forward a simple product which is cold-pressed olive oil, making it into a soap. Cold-pressed olive oil has many benefits for your skin.

May Beauty Favourites

The weather is getting sunnier finally this month and they have been so many bank holidays that I have lost count.. thank goodness I keep track with my calendar. It is also Ramadan this month, so May has been a pretty busy month for us.
 In last months April Beauty Favourites, it was more based on bright vibrant makeup but this month my favourites are more neutral makeup and skincare oriented. Some of the brands have featured a lot already so far this year because I just love the brands and many of their products are must-haves for me.
Another part of my routine for May has been using a higher SPF since the temperatures are higher and the sun is out for longer. It’s an important tip to check skincare SPF to know which temperatures it suits. SPF is an all-around year thing because of no matter what the weather is, it’s always important to use an SPF product in daylight to protect against UV rays.

Bath time with Irregular Cosmetics

If you are a regular reader of my blog or look at my social media you will know how much I love my baths! Bath products are one of my favourite things to relax with and I have tried many brands over the years including Lush, Bomb Cosmetics, Miss Pattierse – the list goes on.
I usually step into lush and fill my basket with a months worth of lush bath bombs, but I had quite a big change last month when Irregular Cosmetics sent me a box of their bath bombs to try out.
Irregular Cosmetics are a new brand which recently just launched. They sent me the bath bombs eco-friendly packaging and the products themselves are all cruelty-free and vegan-friendly too. All of their ingredients are all listed on their website and also with the bath bombs.
They are also handmade too which is a nice considering how many products out there are now mass-produced. I like supporting the smaller business because you know a lot of care and attention has gone into the products.

Bioglan Beauty Collagen | Review

Collagen… we have all heard of it and my goodness we see a lot of it online and on the high street but what is it?  Well, Collagen is a thing our skin loses overtime when we hit our mid-twenties (boo!). I am 28 now and I have started to take care of my skin much more than I used too, but I have been thinking that it’s about time I look after inside too. I really want to look after my skin, hair and nails as much as I possibly can and that’s where the amazing Bioglan Beauty Collagen products come in!
My hair is quite brittle at the ends ( yep it’s my own fault from dying so much lol) and I also have quite dull skin sometimes which makes me look tired even when I’m not which can be annoying. I have taken multi-vitamins for a few months which are brilliant for overall health but I thought it was about time I used something more specific for hair, skin and nails.

First Impression of Essential Oils | Blended Valley

Now we all know essential oils aren’t a new thing, in fact, the first mention of them being used was way back in the 12th century by an Al-Andalusian Physician, chemist and pharmacist Ibn Al-Baitar.  Ever since then they have been used by many cultures around the world that are even continuing right into the present day.
Essential oils have many helpful and amazing uses including one of my personal favourites Aromatherapy!  Now you may be wondering what the heck is Armotherphy so I will give a quick low down on what it is. It is a form of alternative medicine to help induce relaxation. Now with today’s busy lifestyles, relaxation isn’t always easy to reach but aromatherapy is a simple way to relax easier and enjoy the time we have to ourselves, we all deserve that right?
Blended Valley has an amazing selection of essential oils to choose from; some for sleep, relaxing and even energy. I chose Attraction & Love because I love fragrances that have the combination of rose and lemon because they are a nice twist. I love having nice fragrances in the background because they can uplift my mood for many things include reading, relaxing or spending time watching a movie.

Moonpig Fathers Day Event 2019 | Edinburgh

My goodness, I totally forgot the last time I went to a blog event. Its been a couple of years at least because I’ve been so busy and being a mum, it’s not always easy getting babysitters etc. Moonpig contacted me last month about this event which happened last weekend and I knew I had to go because I just love the brand and I have used their website to buy cards and gifts many times before.
I was able to go to the event thanks to my children’s uncle who looked after them for the day while I and my other half went to Edinburgh for the Moonpig Father’s Day event.

The drive to Edinburgh from Glasgow was so relaxing as the sun was shining and the roads were remarkably clear for a Saturday morning…weird. Once we arrived in Edinburgh we parked near the centre ( damn parking is expensive LOL) so we could enjoy the sites before we go to the event.
