Following on from Junes Beauty favourites post which was based on products I liked using in the month which seemed to be like every season rolled into one. I really thought maybe July would have been sunnier and actually like summer but my goodness it has rained days more than they have been the sunshine. I think we had a few nice days without they being rain but apart from that, its been a damp summer for sure.
My July beauty favourites are totally based on the warmth, occasional sunny days and the torrential rains we keep getting. One day of summer is really not enough, right?
Are you excited to read about my choices? Check them out below.
My July Favourites
Makeup Revolution - Re-loaded Iconic Division Palette
I just love this palette for a fair number of reasons! Firstly being it is cruelty-free and vegan-friendly, next to its only £4 and lastly, it's very similar to the ABH Subculture palette.
The palette has 15 pigments of mustard, deep greens and nudes inside which includes mattes and shimmers. I love using them all especially blending the shimmers with the mattes, perfection!
Kat Von D 'Metal Crush' Extreme Highlighter in GammaRay
I got this for my birthday last year and it has been used so many times since then! If you love extreme glittery highlighter then you will love this one for sure. This is gorgeous rose gold and my goodness a little bit of product goes a long way ( not like that's a bad thing, but something to keep in mind for sure)
I like to use this on my cheekbones, brows to define and also cupids bow. It lasts all day and when the sun shines or light hits my face you can see the shine/sparkle, divine!
Anastasia Beverly Hills Blush Trio in Pink Passion
I found this blush palette a few months back in TK Maxx for £15 and ever since then it has been my trusty favourite when I go visit my mum & family for a few days. It has a nice trio of pinks that I think are wonderful and suits my makeup looks.
The compact itself is lovely too as it had a convenient mirror inside so you can take it with you in your handbag too which can be handy!
Beauty Bakerie Setting Powder
I found this in the January Sales as I have heard so many positives on the Beauty Bakerie brand, that I was excited to give the brand a try, they sure never disappointed! I never used to used setting powders because I thought they were unnecessary but this changed my mind, this helps set my makeup and keep it in place all day long.
W7 Princess Potion Face Primer Drops
I really wanted to try the Fasali Unicorn Essence but for me, the price is a little steep at £50. I found this W7 Princess potion face primer for £5 in the range and ever since then I have used it whenever I want my foundation to look dewy, love it.
