Mornings for me can be very hectic, to say the least! I tend to get up at 6am and I make my bed, get my kids up, sort out their breakfasts and tell them to get ready for school while at the same time getting myself sorted out for the day, then before you know it I'm taking the kids to school and I'm doing my blog or tasks for the day. Some mornings I really don't fancy a big or solid breakfast so something quick and healthy is what I want to go for such as a breakfast shake!

Nutribuddy kindly sent me this delicious breakfast shake to try out! It is so popular that over 1 million shakes have been sold so far. The reason it's so popular is that it has the same nutritional value as a big bowl of jumbo oats and seeds, just the shake is easier to have, especially when running out of time.

Now over the past few months, I have tried a few different shakes as I like having them for breakfast every now and again but finding one that kept me full, sure was a challenge. For me, this shake was much more filling since its ingredients are much more natural and free from glute also chemical-free. I am not sure if anyone else noticed but damn, some shakes have ingredients as long as your arm but this has simple ingredients that are easy to understand.

Inside the smooth strawberry, the ingredients are as follows
Gluten-Free Oats, Natural Flavouring, Stevia, Matcha Green Tea, Hemp Protein, Wild Blueberry Powder

They come in 4 different flavours which are vanilla, strawberry, cholcate & naked. They also 2 different textures which are smooth and crunchy, I chose smooth strawberry as I am a big strawberry flavour fan.

Since this is a made of oats if you leave it too long the oats ( which are heavier than water) will drop to the bottom, no worries though as all you need to do is shake it again and it becomes more like a shake again.

I really love the taste of the shake as it has a lovely natural sweet taste and isn't overpowering at all!  I look forward to having it for a quick breakfast in the morning. My favourite way to have this is by adding oat milk ( ha oats with oat milk, perfect eh?)  Each 30g serving contains 119 calories ( that isn't including the milk, each milk has different calories too, so that has to be taken into account as well)

Prices start at £12.99 and you can subscribe to save 25% and also get a free gift!

  10. I've tried the smooth vanilla version and I really liked that they have oats in as well as the protein so there's something a little more substantial. If you're in a rush, it's a great option!

  12. Mornings are so tough aren't they? I like having shakes because they give so much protein and they're super fast.

  13. You know, I'm such a delinquent when it comes to breakfasts. I skip it most of the time, except for a cup of coffee. But this is a good idea.
