A Jolly Fun Festive Tag For Christmas 2020

I was just thinking to my self the other day about not having enough blog posts for the December, let alone enough content for Christmas/Blogmas. But thankfully as the month has progressed I have had more content, yay! I have motivated myself to write more. It’s been ages since I last did a Tag post, so I’m excited to join in with this one.

Check out the post below for my answers and if you would like to join in.

The Original Questions

When do your decorations go up?

When I used to live with my parents it used to go up at the start of December but now I have my own home it is different. This is the first year we have bought a full-size tree, previously we have had small trees as we usually see my family during the holidays.

Who is the Scrooge in your family or friendship group?

Hmm hard to answer this because we all love to have a lovely Christmas, so I don’t think we have one LOL.

If money were no object how and where would you spend Christmas?

I would like to go to a countryside cottage and rent it for a week to spend Christmas (preferably the lake distract) I would have my whole family come over.

What Christmas Films Do You HAVE To Watch Every Festive Season?

Oh my goodness I have so many favourites to choose from but my favourites during the festive season have to be; Edward Scissorhands, Home Alone and How The Grinch Stole Christmas.

Who do you find hardest to buy presents for?

Buying presents is a love/hate thing for me as I usually know what I want to get someone when I see something I think they will like but they are times when I struggle. Dunno who the hardest is though LOL.

Would you rather buy lots of little presents for a hamper, or buy one big/main present?

Now, this depends on the person but on my kids, I like to make up a hamper of little presents with one main present. I prefer making hampers as I can fill it with a variety of small gifts such as food, pyjamas and crafts.

What did you leave out for Santa when you were a child?

My mum said not to leave milk out for Santa as it would spoil so I and my siblings used to leave out a mince pie or cheese rolls my stepdad made. They were always gone by morning.

Where did you spend last Christmas?

We spent a few days at my mum’s house. We got there just intime for Christmas eve which is great because we have a movie night and for Christmas, we have presents, food and a good laugh. Its nice seeing family.

Which Christmas Song makes you cringe?

I love most Christmas songs but I start to get a little annoyed when they start replaying constantly and one song that sticks out the most has to be ‘I wish it could be Christmas Everyday’ by Wizzard. I know it’s good but not constant.

If you could be a character in a holiday movie, who would you be and why?

I would have liked to have been in the Edward Scissorhands movie, I would have loved to have my hair styled and made some food for the barbeque LOL! Not sure who I would be but I would have liked to be definitely part of Pegs friends but minus the gossip and negative vibes her friends have in the film.

Lauren’s Questions

What’s Your favourite festive food?

Ohhh this one is a tough one but it has to be all the chocolate or desserts haha! But I can’t complain about any of it as I really enjoy festive food in general.

Which do you prefer Christmas Eve or Christmas Day and why?

I would say it has to be Christmas day as that’s the day my kids open their presents in the morning and see their happy faces seeing their presents. I also enjoy making Christmas food even though it takes a long time preparing, I just love it.

Which Christmas song is your favourite?
