Who loves muffins? I just love muffins, they are one of my favourite sweet treats to have whenever I am feeling peckish. I am always on the lookout for healthier alternatives. I saw these Fuel10k Oat Muffins on many fitness pages, so I just had to try them out for myself. It took me a while but I managed to get all the flavours.
Over the years I have tried many different muffins, one of my favourites has to be the sweet muffins from muffin break. I have never tried hot muffins in pots before but I was excited to give these a try.

Fuel10k Oat Muffins come in 3 mouth-watering flavours; Toffee Apple, Banana & Chocolate and Double Chocolate. I found them in Morrisons and in-home bargains.
Double Chocolate
The most popular of the bunch, I found this flavour very easily. it’s got 172 calories and 11.2g of protein. I thought this flavour was ok, nothing amazing but goes so much better with yoghurt or some low-fat single cream. I find this rather dry and not very chocolatey.
Banana & Chocolate
Out of all the flavours, this one was the hardest to find! I wish I got more. It has 213 calories and 12.2g of protein. This flavour is quite temperamental, so keep an eye on how long you microwave it. I love the flavour, reminds me of a banana custard/ foam banana, yummy!
Toffee Apple
If you love cake then this one is the one! the flavour is moist and almost cake-like out of them all. This needs np help with any flavourings, it tastes delicious on its own. It has 206 calories and 11.5g of protein. I bought so many of this flavour, it’s heavenly!

My thoughts
I like the fuel10k oat muffins. Would I say they are better than muffins? not a chance! But I do think they are a wonderful snack if you want a lower calorie option with a real good protein kick. I love these with a cuppa but when I was a freshly baked muffin, I am going for the bakery options.
