Lush ‘Comfort Zone’ Shower Bomb Review

I recently got this Lush ‘Comfort Zone’ Shower Bomb in my Lush ‘Glow’ gift box that I got for Christmas in 2021. It has been a while since I last tried anything from Lush, keep reading for the full review.

It wasn’t because I didn’t want to try anything new, but with adjusting to life with lockdowns and that, it just wasn’t something I thought about for a while.

Design & Scent

The design kinda reminds me of candy, not sure of the name but I am sure maybe one you guys know right? Anyways it's a rose pink colour and looked like this when I opened the gift box, it was crumbling all over everything, I have to say that was disappointing.
Maybe it was because this was next to other products in the gift box, I don't think this didn't smell like sweet blackcurrant. I drink Ribena daily and have had many blackcurrants, this wasn't that haha.

In the shower

Comfort Zone is said to last for a few showers, not for me, it was done after one of mine. It melted into foam onto the nice skin. Inside the comfort zone was chia seeds, which are probably for exfoliation? Not sure but that’s most likely. It made the water a hot raspberry pink which looks rather nice.

The foam was lovely, it melted softly into my skin. It has a lovely sweet smell that is gorgeous with Molton brown shower gels. I would say the top note would be the bergamot oil, it reminds me of the dragon’s egg bomb I tried years ago.

List of ingredients

Sodium Bicarbonate, Cream of Tartar, Citric Acid, Potato Starch, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Calcium Lactate Gluconate, Sodium Alginate, Perfume, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Bergamot Oil, Blackcurrant Absolute, Cypress Oil, Chia Seeds, Fresh Raspberries, Water (Aqua), Propylene Glycol, *Limonene, *Linalool, Colour 17200, Colour 45410:1

My thoughts on Comfort Zone

It’s a shame that this didn’t last as long as I thought it would have, reviews online say they do last, maybe I got a silly one. It was crumbling apart in the gift box, it was made worse as the mess went all over the other products.

I think £3 for a product that doesn’t last long and crumbles easily is rather steep, which is such a shame. I don’t know if I will buy any more products like this.
