Handsome Jacks Barber – Glasgow | Review

January 29, 2020      1 Comment

Handsome Jacks Barber Glasgow
As you may of all noticed a couple of months ago over on my social media that I decided to get my shoulder-length hair cut into a short pixie cut. The main reason I wanted to get my hair cut short was to start afresh with my hair as my hair previously had a lot of bleach damage along with lots of hair dye build-up, so I decided for a new hairstyle and to eventually get my hair back blonde.
I previously heard of Handsome Jacks Barbers in Shawlands, Glasgow by simply walking past it on the way to the gum and also my brother in law. He gets his hair cut their every few months from there and when he does it looks on point so that’s how I decided to go give them a try to cut my hair short and start anew.

a day out to the Riverside Museum | Glasgow

Riverside Museum| Glasgow

We have lived in Glasgow for over 4 years and since then we have seen so many amazing places in Scotland. I have to say not only is Scotland rich in history but it also has lots of things to do and places to visit too. One of my favourites places to visit has to be the award-winning Riverside Museum (transport museum) which has over 3000 objects including cars, motorbikes and even a train. We went to a couple of weeks ago with my mum when she came to visit in the summer holidays.

The museum has a generous amount of parking places available and they cost under about £3.20 for 2-hour stay at the museum. The Riverside Museum is free of charge but it’s suggested you make a donation of £5 per person in donation boxes dotted around the museum.Check out what’s inside the Riverside Museum by clicking read more

BRGR Vegan Options Review

July 5, 2019      1 Comment

BRGR : Review
I must admit I am a huge burger fan, especially during the summer months. BRGR is not a new place to eat for me my as a lot of my family have ordered from here but me being me I wasn’t keen on the veggie options at that time. The menu has changed quite a bit since then and they now have plenty of vegan & vegetarian-friendly options.
They are four BRGR locations in Scotland, three of them being in Glasgow. I chose the one in Giffnock because that delivers near to where I live. They also have seats inside so you can have a meal there if you prefer.
Before I started the post I will add that I paid for this meal myself.

December 28, 2018      1 Comment

Stack and Still - Glasgow | Review
Pancakes are one of my favourite desserts…like ever! When I saw advertising on a first bus about a pancake restaurant in Glasgow central I just knew I had to visit to see what amazing pancake options they have to offer. Stack & Still is the biggest urban pancake house in the UK!
Stack & Still have a huge menu… so huge that if you went there every day for the next 35,000 years you wouldn’t have the same pancake twice! The menu is very versatile as well with so many options including a make your own and also combinations they have come up with two from the sweet and savoury menus. If you are vegan they have a pancake option and also they have gluten-free options as well as a protein pancake!

My thoughts on ‘Creams Cafe ‘in Glasgow, UK

August 2, 2018      Leave a Comment

Ice cream is one of my all-time favourites treat so when I saw ‘Creams Cafe’ at the Quay in Glasgow I knew I had to visit. I usually got to ‘What the Fudge’ for my desserts but we knew we had to try out creams seeing as they have social media favourite bubble pop waffles.
Creams Cafes are in various locations across the UK ( Glasgow in the Quay; this is the only one they have in Scotland) They sell a variety of mouth-watering desserts including; waffles, sundaes and crepes. Creams cafe was founded in 2008 and since then have gone strength to strength opening in various locations.

I've heard of probiotics in food but its the first I've heard of probiotics in food but its the first I've seen it in skincare ( I'm aware I might be late to the party with this 😂)

(gifted) This is the new @antipodesskincare Culture Probiotic Night Recovery Water Cream 🌱
The cream is made with good bacteria and hyaluronic acid for calm, hydrated, healthy-looking skin. It smells gorgeous and feels very refreshing on the skin. I've used it for a few weeks now and I love applying it before bed as it feels cool to apply and over time helps skin feel hydrated.
It's 100% natural origin and vegan friendly 🌱
