What I got for Christmas 2021
So before we get into what I got for Christmas 2021, I thought I’d share that we were not sure about our plans for Christmas in 2021, since a lot of my family members are from the older generation. We decided it was best to wait till the summer to give them a visit, hopefully, things will get much better by then.
It sure isn’t easy not seeing my gran etc but it’s for the best for everyone at this time. Anyways, we had a Christmas at home as we have done since the year prior.
I got one present given to me this year and the rest of them are gifts to myself as a little bit of a pick me up. It’s a mixture of fitness and beauty products. I am super happy to do a post like this again, last time I did what I got for the Christmas post was in 2018.

My Vegan Protein Cookies Review
A few months ago I ordered a large haul from My Protein. I have just about finished that haul, so it won’t be long before I choose some of my favourites again, yay. I have just about finished my plant-based baked protein cookies, so it’s time for me to review them on my blog.
If you have seen my social media you may have noticed I have been on a fitness journey, so I am finding foods that fit well in my lifestyle. Check out my post on losing 40lbs.

So what are My Vegan baked protein cookies?
We all know baked cookies that you can get in the freshly baked section in supermarkets, well these are pretty similar to that in both calories and size but the difference being they is less sugar and more protein. They come in 3 mouth-watering flavours and have no artificial sweeteners.
The 3 flavours include choc chip (my favourite), double chocolate and salted caramel.
How many calories per cookie?
The cookies contain 289 calories and have 13g of protein. I have looked at similar size cookies from supermarkets and they are around the same bracket; calorie-wise. These sound great if you want to have a sweet treat but also have a little extra protein.

My thoughts on them?
At first, I really enjoyed these cookies, especially with a cup of tea but the more I had them the taste felt dry and a little fake. They do taste so much better if you pop them in the micro for about 30 seconds and have a side of ice cream and vanilla yoghurt.
The texture is a bit thicker than you would expect on a freshly baked cookie but saying that it isn’t horrible or anything. As I said above it’s best with a hot drink.
Out of all flavours, I have tried, choc chip has to be my favourite and more like its cookie counterparts.
So would you buy them again?
hmm, this I am not sure about to be honest, maybe? I might if i fancy a sweet treat with a kick of protein but apart from that maybe not but knowing me probably haha
They cost £18.99 for a box of 12 cookies but if you are a bargain hunter like me, they are usually on offer, so look out for their deals and save those pennies!
Check them out on MyVegan
Until next time

20 family-friendly Christmas movies that everyone will love!
Christmas has to be one of my favourite holidays and that’s why I made this post with 20 family-friendly Christmas movies that everyone will love! I love watching holiday movies with my family during December; it sets up the big day and brings more excitement. Over the years I have watched many Xmas movies and this post will have some of my all-time favourites in it.
My favourite Christmas movie of all time has to be Edward Scissorhands, it will forever be my favourite as I love the story and have been a fan of Johnny Depp for a long time. Check out a tag for a Christmas post from last year.

My thoughts on the REVOLUTION X DC Batman Palette & Highlighter
If you follow my blog you may have seen my November beauty haul in which I talk about my returning love for beauty products after a crazy 2020, don’t you all agree? In October I got the REVOLUTION X DC Batman Palette & Highlighter and I can’t wait to share my thoughts with you about them both! I even managed to make a reel with these. Wooo.
The highlighter and eyeshadow palette is only a small part of the Revolution DC collection. They have different products such as eyeshadow palettes, lipgloss and even makeup brushes from characters such as Batman, the Joker and of course Harley Quinn.
The DC collection is rather large so instead of buying everything I decided to get two products that stood out for me. The ones which stood out to me were; ‘I am the Batman’ eyeshadow palette and the ‘Bat Light’ Highlighter. Revolution Beauty is a cruelty-free, vegan and affordable brand.

Batman X Makeup Revolution Bat Light Highlighter
This was the first item I chose, I chose it because it’s embossed with the batman logo…Oh dear, I can’t hold it in, ‘I am the Batman’ sorry lol, old habits after watching batman cartoons as a kid. The highlighter is pressed gold in colour, which is just stunning. I would say it has a little bit of sparkle to it but nothing overboard.
Ingredients
Mica, Talc, Paraffinum Liquidum (Mineral Oil, Huile Minerale), Magnesium Stearate, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Polybutene, Polyethylene, Dimethicone, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Tin Oxide, CI 77891 (Titanium Dioxide), CI 77491 (Iron Oxides).

Batman X Makeup Revolution I am the Batman Eyeshadow Palette
Between both of the batman eyeshadow palettes, this one stood out for me much more. I love that it has a mix of mattes and shimmers to work with. They compliment each other perfectly. I think the matte nudes and shimmers work perfectly with the batman theme.
The palette has 9 hero worthy shades
- Batman – Gold Shimmer
- Dark – A riche matte nude
- City – The iconic Batman yellow
- Fear – Batman matte black
- Hero- Warm shimmery nude
- Gotham – Matte light nude
- Vegenance-Matte deep brown
- Mr Wayne – Warm matte nude
- Night – Shimmery brown
Ingredients
Check out the list on their site. It’s far too long to post on here.

How much are they?
The prices start at £6 and are the most expensive item is £22. The highlighter is £6 and the eyeshadow palette is £8.
My Thoughts
For the price point, I think they are both wonderful. The eyeshadow palette creates some stunning looks with little effort, the colours stand out and it’s stunning. As for the highlighter, that is just gorgeous too, creating beautiful shimmers in different light and settings, I am very glad I chose both of these.
Now I am not going to say they are perfect because they are not. First point the names of the shades are on a plastic sheet, rather than on the palette itself. Another point I would say is they both are very crumbly, the designs on the palette and highlighter disappear very quickly.
Have you tried anything from the DC Makeup Revolution Collection?

My Beauty Buys In November 2021
I have to admit in 2020 and the start of 2021, I did not buy many beauty products at all. I think the only things I bought in that period was SPF creams and lip balms, but apart from that NOTHING. The C-word did affect that and many other parts of my life too. Let us bring on the positives and see My Beauty Buys In November 2021
Makeup is still quite low on my priority list but I still enjoy wearing it occasionally. The main buys I have enjoyed getting are skincare products because, boy my skin needs some TLC in the colder months, brrr! My most bought things at the moment are Korean skincare and vibrant makeup.

Finally trying out the all-purpose skin cream | Egyptian Magic Review
I feel a little bit late to the party reviewing this celebrity/blogger favourite Egyptian Magic. I couldn’t wait to give it a try.
Ever since I was a child I have loved all things from ancient Egypt such as fashion, hieroglyphs and of course the pyramids. This cream is inspired by ancient Egyptian favourite products which are ingredients like Olive Oil, Beeswax, Honey, Bee Pollen, Royal Jelly, Bee Propolis and Divine Love.
My skin type is a combination but most of the time it’s normal depending on hormones etc. But saying that I like to use something more natural and got a bit of history to it, so it sold it to me from that respect. This multi-purpose balm is 100% natural and cruelty-free.
